CBSE Video Lessons
What would you do, when you are off to the class for couple of days? Would you come back and wait to hear from your teacher(s) and classmates on what was taught during your absence? Wouldn’t it be nice, if you can get access to the video lessons that can help you with the missed portions?
CBSE Video lessons could come in handy to you for several reasons:
- It is the easiest way for you to revise the whole lecture. By revising, one can understand the lessons even better, or you can pay more attention to the not so well listened portions of the lecture, while you were at the class.
- If you want to learn, while you are on travel, then the video lessons would be very useful. It avoids the necessity of carrying away your books.
- What, if video lessons can give you alternate explanations? Not all the students understand the methods of teaching adopted by their teachers. One can always request their teachers to reiterate the lessons, however if the method used by the teachers are not just effective for you, the video lessons could be an excellent alternative source for your quest.
- What if you are interested in the topic more than what is suggested in the syllabus? Of course your teacher can help you, but they may not have all the time in the world to go deeper to the topic of your interest. What if you can get more details on the topic from the video lessons? It would further help in creating more interests on the subjects?
As you can see from above, the video lessons could be a great supplement to your regular classes. The fact that one can access the video lessons via internet has ended up as a useful time saving tool. It is also true, when it comes to teaching that ‘no one size fits all’; a video may not be the standard video for a given topic, but there might be several videos to satisfy the different teaching requirements. Availability of the videos online would also mean that students can easily recommend each other about the different video classes that their friends might like.
There are a number of public and private parties interested in publishing the videos for CBSE syllabus. One can do a research in the search engines to find some interesting videos available as of today. If students are finding the video classes to be useful and when they are able to convey this by greater utilization of today’s video classes; then the parties involved in making the video classes will be more engaging in order to bring more video classes on a wide variety of subjects.
To help the students to convey their message about the video classes, more online forums should be created, where students could communicate their comments\critics to their fellow students and the authors. This will in turn assure the quality of the video classes that are yet to come. Also this will bring interest among the teachers to collaborate with their peers from other institutions to share their best practices and work together on videos that could be beneficial to not just their own students, but to the entire student’s community.
It is quite likely that the online video adoption will increase in the coming years, as students would also want to do things on the go.
